Old World Meets New at Sitti
Last week I posted a couple of photos on Instagram from my trip to Sitti Lebanese restaurant in downtown Raleigh, along with the promise that I would soon review this fine place. Today I make good on my promise! Where to start? This restaurant has so many things going for it, that I find it hard to figure out what to say first. I guess I should start with first impressions. Sitti is located right in downtown Raleigh on Wilmington Street, just a couple of blocks from Moore Squ

Taking The Next Step
I began this newsletter this morning, very early this morning. Because of my ultra busy weekend, I hadn't built the menu yet or done any writing on it (for context, it takes me an ungodly amount of time to put this newsletter together - shh! don't tell my business coach). Marching for Love
Good morning and happy Martin Luther King Day! Thanks to Google for reminding me, the ever-out-of-touch-with-the-calendar, about today's holiday. Yet, because it continued snowing for another 4 hours and because I was struck with my worst cold of the past year (which really is not that bad but because I hate inactivity so deeply, I reserve the right to whine about it), the winter wonderland outside has yet to be explore

When I was young, it was kind of a drag because I would have visions of lively, fun, thematic birthday parties... and then no one would come. Eventually I just came to understand that New Year's Day is not a day to party. People are already partied and holida
