It's Time for Kirtan!
What: Samadhi's brand new monthly kirtan party! Bring friends. Bring children. Bring a vegan snack to share. Potluck will be at 6:30 in the hall. Suggested donation $5-$20. Where: Triangle Yoga, 930 Martin Luther King Blvd., Chapel Hill, 27514 When: Saturday, March 5, 7-8:30 pm.; and every first Saturday of the month after that. Experience the Flava of Kirtan in Durham! What: Kirtan hosted by Experience Bhakti Yoga, an all-inclusive organization dedicated to bringing devotional yoga events to the Triangle area. Newcomers welcome! Come connect with the Divine through the power of musical mantra meditation. Hearts guaranteed to be blown wide open.... Who: This month the kirtan is being moved to Wednesday in order to accomodate the schedule of the traveling kirtan duo, Prema Hara. This event is still tentative, so please check the Facebook page for the latest updates. Where: The new vegetarian hotspot, Vegan Flava Cafe, 4125 Durham Chapel Hill Blvd, Durham, 27707 *Come hungry, as the tacos here are out of this world! When: Wednesday, March 9, 6:30-8:30 pm. Prema Hara in Fayetteville

What: Heart-melting kirtan, Prema Hara style. Deeply steeped in the tradition of Krishna bhakti, Keshavacharya's 20+ years of experience permeate their kirtan, adding profound depth to each chant that cannot help but move your soul. Kamaniya's perfect harmonies, beauty, grace, and evanescence shine in the forefront, making all her meet her feel welcome. Do not miss this opportunity to travel to the stars! Suggested donation $15. Who: Keshavacharya and Kamaniya, otherwise known as Prema Hara, the dynamic Swiss-based international traveling kirtan duo. Kirtan Night in Carrboro

What: Once a month the weekly HoYS Friday kirtan will be extended to feature several of the area's dedicated kirtaniyas (folks who lead kirtan). Save the Date!

The much-anticipated Jordan Lake Kirtan Festival will be returning on Saturday, May 21st from about 1-6pm. This has always been a lovely afternoon to remember with local kirtan artists, a delicious vegan potluck, yoga on the grass, happy dogs, dips in the lake, etc. Don't keep this mini-retreat a secret; days like this are best shared with friends!
